Hedges are a passion of mine. I love planting any species of hedge but I also enjoy the challenge of managing a hedge. This may involve simple hedge trimming or more extensive taming of an out of control hedge or laying of the hedge, called hedgelaying.. The great thing about a hedge is that not only is one creating a wonderful wildlife habitat but also a structure for the future to be admired in different disguises throughout the year.
As well as trimming simple garden hedges we also have the equipment to take on the management of very high and complicated hedges.
From November until the end of March we undertake any length of hedgelaying. This is done to the Somerset style, with all gaps infilled with new hedgeplants.
