Felling

Before any work begins we would check to see if the tree is in a Conservation Area or carries a Tree Preservation Order (TPO). Exceptions to this are trees that are dead, diseased or dangerous.

When clear space is available, felling is the most exciting part of our job, however we are often limited by obstructions such as other trees/shrubs, greenhouses and buildings. It is at this stage that you will see our Tree Surgery skills demonstrated by the section felling of the trunk and the lowering of branches safely to the ground.
